Mitchell Christian Vose, 31, of Topeka, passed away September 18, 2010.
He was born December 7, 1978 in Topeka, the son of Mark D. and Maren (Henriksen) Vose. He was a graduate of Seaman High School in 1997 and Kaw Valley Vo-Tech. He was employed by AAA of Kansas.
Survivors include a son, Mitchell Perry Vose; his parents, Mark D. Vose and Jackie Stansell, Maren and E.L. "Tom" Farr all of Topeka; his brother, Matthew William Vose of Van Nuys, CA; maternal grandmother, Marie Henriksen of Topeka; step-brothers, Thomas Ellery Farr, Alan and Scott Stansell and step-sisters, Patricia Ann Petesch and Nancy K. Gatzemeyer.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 24, 2010 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Mr. Vose will lie in state after 3 p.m., Thursday at the Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Mitchell Perry Vose Education Fund, sent in care of the Educational Credit Union, 3623 SE 29th Street, Topeka, KS, 66605.
