Mittie Lee Jones, 60, of Topeka, passed away on Feb. 13, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital. She was born on May 2, 1949, in Marshall, TX, the daughter of Ruthie Mae Jones.
Mittie was born and raised in Marshall, TX . She is a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Topeka, KS. She had worked many years in maintenance for the Marshall School System and the City of Topeka.
She is survived by her children; Martha Jones, Leonard Jones (Sheena Jones), Wayne Allen, Teresa Allen, Robert Allen, and Bridgett Allen.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruthie; sister, Mary King; granddaughters , Mittie Allen, Marie Green, and Honesty Allen; and grandson, D'Andrea Jones.
