With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother. She was a woman of kindness, warmth, and unwavering generosity, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Mom had a deep love for children, and nothing brought her more joy than nurturing young minds and hearts. Whether as a devoted mother, a cherished grandmother, a Sunday school teacher, or a loving friend, she made every child feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Her appreciation for nature was a reflection of her beautiful soul—she found peace in the rustling leaves, the songs of birds, and the quiet beauty of a garden in bloom. Whether she was tending to her garden, taking long walks, or simply enjoying the fresh air, nature was her sanctuary.

Above all, Mona treasured the friendships she cultivated throughout her life. She had a gift for making others feel welcome, offering a listening ear, a warm hug, a full belly, and an open heart.

Preceding Mona was her daughter Donna. She is survived by her children, David, LeAnn, and her four grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the countless memories she left us.

Her spirit will forever live on in the beauty of the world she cherished and in the hearts of those who loved her. In lieu of flowers, hug your loved ones, care for nature, share a meal, and be kind to those you meet.

A graveside services will be held on March 29 at 12:30 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery Topeka KS..
