Monte Lee Fuller, 93, of Topeka, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022.

He was born April 9, 1929, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of L.A. and Virginia May (Kemp) Fuller. He graduated from Topeka High School and attended the University of Kansas. He served in the Navy as a fighter pilot on the USS Coral Sea aircraft carrier.

Monte married Barbara Louise Hamilton in 1956 in Reno, Nevada. She preceded him in death on October 2, 2018. Survivors include their children, Dianne M. Fuller and son Monte Les Fuller, both of Topeka; grandson, Michael Fuller of Jeffersonville, IN; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Fuller, James David Caswell, and Michael Ray Fuller. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Monte enjoyed being with family and friends. He liked to make birdhouses and he loved a good steak with lobster. He was quite the comedian and was enjoyed by all.

A private family graveside memorial ceremony will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission, Inc., PO Box 8350, Topeka, KS 66608-0350 or the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS 66604-3720.
