Montez Lassiter

Montez D. Lassiter, 2, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006 in Hinesville GA. Montez was born on April 15, 2003 in Topeka, the son of Amber D. Lassiter. He had lived in Topeka until he recently moved to GA with his mother and big sister Michya.
Survivors include his parents, Amber Lassiter and Cortez Johnson, and a sister, Michya A. Green, of Hinesville, GA; grandparents, Kendra and Larry White, George and Jessie Lassiter, Pam and Willie Owens; and a great-grandmother, Evelyn Lassiter. Other survivors include his uncles, Larry and Tyler; an aunt Shayla; and his cousins, Taija, Tai-lour, Tristan, and Tanner, all of Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, at El Shaddi Church of God in Christ, 920 SE Sherman Ave, with burial to follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Montez will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel after 1:00 p.m. Sunday, where family will meet with friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday evening.
