Ms. Claram. Wilson

Ms. Clara Wilson, 87, of New Orleans, LA, who was currently living in Topeka, went home to be with her Lord on October 15, 2014. She was born to Steve Wilson and Effie Chatman on January 15, 1927 in Kenner, LA.

She was a member of St. John Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA for 75 years. She was an usher for over 60 years. She was an honorary member of the Love and Charity Assoc. and a member of the Isaac & Rebekah Organization. After her sister Louella's passing, she raised her sister's children. She participated in the Midland PACE program and was served by the hospice house in Topeka.

She is survived by all of her beloved nieces and nephews. She leaves to mourn, Carol and Tyrone Jacob, Regina, Johnie O, Lucille, Chris, and Joyce Lou, Toiya, Aisha, and a host of others who loved and cared for her. Thanks to all of the staff at Midland Care.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
