Myrtle Marrs

Myrtle M. (Gentry) Marrs, 85, a resident of Prairie Missions Retirement Village, St. Paul, KS, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011.
Myrtle was born February 27, 1926 in Neodesha, KS, the third of five daughters of Richard R. and Lida M. (Roller) Gentry.
Before moving to St. Paul, Myrtle had been living with her sister, Dollie (Gentry) Magner in Topeka. Myrtle enjoyed reading, doing arts and crafts and most of all, watching her favorite Baseball team, the Chicago Cubs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Marrs of 41yrs., her parents; sisters, Thelma (Gentry) Earley and Lavinna (Gentry) Stallsmith; and several nephews.
Myrtle is survived by sisters, Dollie (Gentry) Magner, Topeka, KS, Tillie (Gentry) Cruse, St. Paul, KS ; 12 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews; and 9 great-great nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
