Nadine M. Moore, 84, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, formerly of Topeka, passed away, Sunday, August 5, 2007 at her home in Arkansas.
She was born April 28, 1923 in Burlingame, Kansas the daughter of Ben and Nellie Kahrs Smith. She was a graduate of Burlingame High School.
Nadine worked for the Kansas Department of Revenue for the State of Kansas until her retirement.
She was a member of the Burlingame Federated Church.
Nadine married Hugh F. Moore November 28, 1941 in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death April 7, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Stacy Epperson. Survivors include her daughters Charlotte Epperson, Bella Vista, AR; Darlene Lowe, Topeka, KS; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Nadine will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to Midland Hospice Care, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
