Nancy Lynne Carver-Eddy, 66, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018. She was born March 1, 1952 in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Robert Wayne and Florence Evelyn (Catron) Boaz.
Nancy graduated from Seaman High School. She taught preschoolers for 17 years in the Oklahoma City School System.
Nancy married Dean K. Carver, Sr. in 1971. After a divorce, he preceded her in death. She later married Steven N. Eddy on March 17, 2003 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Anissa (Michael) Burns, Erin (Chris) Stormes of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Keri Wilson of Everett, Washington; four sons, Dean K. Carver, Jr., Chris (Mellissa) Carver, Matthew (Sarah) Carver and Jeremy Carver all of Topeka; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Vicki (Tim) Coulter of Topeka and two nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Jordan Carver; and a nephew, Jason Dailey.
Nancy enjoyed trains, genealogy studies, sewing, handcrafts such as knitting hats and making beaded jewelry. One of her greatest joys came from being "Nummie" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sherwood Ward, 2401 SW Kingsrow Rd. A second memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Stonegate OKC, 2525 NW 112th St., Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma 73120. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sherwood Ward, 2401 SW Kingsrow Rd., Topeka, Kansas 66614.
