Nancy Jean Wurtz

Nancy Jean Wurtz, 67, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Midland Hospice Care. She was born at the family home on July 17, 1945 in Paxico, KS, the daughter of Albert and Marguerite (Clark) Burlew.
Nancy was raised in Paxico and graduated from Paxico High School. She was employed by Jostens for 22 years. Her true joy was her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her children, Marla Wurtz, Allen Wurtz (Elissa), Bryan Wurtz (Bridgid), Kara Wurtz-Stanley (Eddie); sister, Elsie Dalrymple (Dan); grandchildren, Justin, Brandon T, Logan, Skyler, Tayler, Cameron, Adyson, Bryan, Cody, Danny, Brandon A, Jordan, Aaron, and Miranda. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Judy Burlew, Mary Burlew-Fritze; and brother, Bill Burlew.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31st at Faith Family Life Centre, 3710 NW Topeka Ave. A family visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
