Nancy Jo Evans

Nancy Jo Evans, 61, of Tecumseh, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2005 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born on September 15, 1943 in Oklahoma, the daughter of Joe and Jean Parrick McDonough. She lived in the Topeka and Tecumseh communities most of her life. She was employed as a school bus driver by U.S.D. 450 before retiring in 1993. She was married to Robert M. Evans in 1962. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Robert M. Evans, Jr. of Auburn, one daughter, April Evans of Tecumseh, one granddaughter, Cloe' S. Evans-Wenger of Tecumseh and one brother, Dan McDonough of Washington. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place in Zion Cemetery southeast of Topeka at a later date.
