Nancy E. "Nancy Nurse" Williams, 85, of Baldwin City, Kansas passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at a Baldwin City care facility. She was born January 29, 1934 in Binghamton, New York, the daughter of Irene McCollom.
Nancy was a licensed beautician and later became a Registered Nurse. She taught nursing classes to nursing students that were entering into the field. She was of the Catholic Faith and attended Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include children, Aaron John Barnum of Arizona, Brenda Cheryl Amante of Arizona, David Eric Barnum of Arizona, Frederick Gordon Barnum of Washington, Jeffrey Keith Burgos of Arizona, Laural Melody Williams of Kansas, 25 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by one son, Ralph H. I. Estrada, Jr. on August 25, 2007.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held at a later date in Arizona. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Great Lakes Caring Hospice, 1420 Wakarusa Dr., Ste. 202, Lawrence, Kansas 66049.
