Naomi Mae Underwood, 89, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Midland Hospice House.
Naomi was born August 19, 1920 in Topeka, the daughter of Rudolph and Edith (Kaul) Molz. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1938.
Naomi married Grant Alfred Underwood on May 24, 1940. He died December 9, 1993. Survivors include sons, Alan Underwood, Tampa, FL, Roger Underwood, Mark Underwood, David Underwood, all of Topeka; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sisters, Adele Hardin and Donna Zeller, both of Palm Springs, CA. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lynn Underwood.
Private family funeral services will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care Hospice Services, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606 or Presbyterian Manor Good Samaritan Fund, 4712 SW 6th, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
