Nash Davis McKnight, 26, of Topeka, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024.

He was born August 13, 1997, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Tracy McKnight and Dawn Putnam. He was a 2015 graduate of Seaman High School.

Nash was employed by Bettis Asphalt, Shawnee County Department of Transportation and most recently for Fit Construction in Topeka.

Survivors include two children, Jaxton McKnight and Xander McKnight; his parents, Tracy (Dana) McKnight of Topeka and Dawn (James) Putnam-Gustin of Topeka; his sister, Ciara McKnight of Topeka; his significant other, Alley Rickel; three brothers, William McKnight of Colorado Springs, CO, Cody McKnight of Topeka and Colton McKnight of Cypress, CA; sister, Ashley McKnight of Topeka; maternal grandmother, Julie Putnam of Topeka; paternal grandparents, Deborah McKnight of Topeka and George (Kyong) McKnight of Topeka.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Putnam.

Cremation is planned. A celebration of life to honor Nash hosted by his father, Tracy McKnight will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Northland Christian Church, 3102 NW Topeka Blvd., Topeka. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.

A celebration of life to honor Nash hosted by his mother, Dawn Putnam-Gustin will be held from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the Woodshed, 1901 N Kanas Ave., Topeka. Following the celebration of life, there will be a continued time of sharing and fellowship until 3:00 p.m. at the Woodshed. Memorial contributions may be made to Jax and Xander Education Fund and sent in care of Azura Credit Union in Topeka.
