Neva Jane Coleman, age 55, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012 surrounded by those she loved. She was born in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Everett Coleman and Eloise Mary Flowers, who both preceded her in death.
She was raised in Topeka, and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1974. She worked for the Kansas Department of Labor. She loved to cook and collect Precious Moments. She loved her family and her love of laughter gave her a joy for life.
She is survived by her mate, Tommie Barber; sisters, Marietta Pruitt (Kenny), Luana Straley (John), Sharil Caldwell; brother, Merrill Coleman (Paula), and eight nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name, in care of Merrill Coleman, to Dove Cremation & Funeral Service.
