Nola Lovell
Nola J. Lovell, 67, Topeka, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003 at a Topeka hospice facility.
She was born April 15, 1936 in Grantville, the daughter of Melvin and Ethel Lewis Nolting. She attended public schools in Topeka.
Mrs. Lovell worked for 25 years at Stormont-Vail before retiring in 1992 due to ill health. She was a member of Central Church of Christ.
She married Frank Lovell, Jr. on Feb. 14, 1969. He died July 7, 1998. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon K. Ortiz on Jan. 23, 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Shaunti Lovell, Louisiana; 2 sons, Charles Banks, Jr., Topeka and Trevor Lovell, NJ; sister, Melva Shinn, Topeka; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Monday at Central Church of Christ. Private inurnment will be in West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
