Norma Ann Keltner
Norma Ann Keltner, 82, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2010 in Belleville, IL with her daughters at her bedside.
She graduated from Harper High School in Chicago in 1946. She attended Baker University and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. From 1969-1971 she attended Washburn University and completed her Masters degree in education.
She taught in the Topeka USD-501 school district at Quincy Elementary for 26 years, retiring in 1992.
Norma married Donald Allen Keltner on August 22, 1948 in Chicago, IL. He died August 20, 1991. Survivors include daughters, Kristine Hughes, Aurora, CO, Laurie Ann Luksa, Denton, TX, Emily Jane Roman, Belleville, IL, Rebecca Sue Dodds, Ponte Vedra, FL; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and brother, Chester Nedvar, LaGrange, IL.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Road, Topeka, KS 66617 or the humane society of your choice.
