Norma D. Burnett, 79, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014.
She was born April 11, 1935. She received a Licensed Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Kansas.
Norma was employed by USD 501 and Salina School District.
She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Will A. Burnett and two sons, Theodore and Tony (Tresha) Burnett; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother and a sister.
Honoring her request, Norma was cremated. A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2014, at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Topeka. Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CASA of Shawnee County, 501 SE Jefferson, Suite 2002, Topeka, KS 66607.
