Norma Jeane Hill Endsley, 83, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011.
Jeane was born June 15, 1928 in Circleville, the daughter of Joseph Clayton and Frances Elizabeth (Willard) Hill. She graduated from Circleville High School in 1946.
She worked for Jostens Yearbook for 25 years, retiring in 1992. She later worked for TX Maxx, retiring in April 2011 due to illness.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 1650.
She loved traveling with her friends and family and was an avid KU fan, especially basketball.
Jeane married Charles Herbert Endsley on December 24, 1952. He died June 5, 1996. Survivors include son, Michael R. Wells (Dena) Endsley, Harveyville; daughters, Vicky C. (Harvey) Harris, Pamela S. (Bill) Howey, all of Topeka; grandchildren, Michael (Sierra) Endsley, Kevin (Heather) Endsley, Reed Endsley, Aaron (Jenny) Endsley, Dawn (Allan) Petty, Kim (Nate) Burke, Mark (Angie) Harris, Bryson (Jessica) Helm, Brent (Crystal) Helm; and 13 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Wayne Endsley in 1978.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. Inurnment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
