Norma Lee Rolfe, 62, Topeka, Kansas died Saturday, April 10, 2010. Norma was born on August 28, 1947 at Alamosa, Colorado to Norman Omar and Dorothy Myrtle (Roark) McGinnis. She grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado and moved to Monte Vista, Colorado where she graduated from high school in 1964.
She married Howard Rolfe on November 13, 1972 in Topeka, Kansas. She was a member of the Church of Christ for many years. She was a hairdresser most of her life. She was part owner of Gold Specialties Printing until 1998. She was currently employed as an administrative assistant for the Kansas Real Estate Commission. She enjoyed crocheting, photography, cooking, collecting antiques and memorabilia, and bird watching.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a baby brother, and her step-son, Paul Rolfe. She is survived by her husband, Howard; daughter, Hillary Rolfe; step-daughter, Brenda Rolfe; and two brothers, David McGinnis and Norman Wayne McGinnis.
A celebration of Norma's life will be held in the chapel at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2010.
