Norma E. Teske

Norma E. Teske, 84, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at a Topeka hospital. She was born December 1, 1932 near Dover, Kansas, the daughter of Emory and Elizabeth (Bennett) Osburn.
Norma graduated from Topeka High School in 1951. She was employed by Southwestern Bell and later at Topeka Lutheran School and KSNT TV. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Norma married Sheldon L. Teske on August 5, 1951 in Topeka. He survives of the home. Other survivors include their children, Jeff (Kim), Brian (Melanie) and Jay; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Joany Teske of Manhattan, Kansas and her sister, Jan (Gordon) Williams of Topeka.
Norma was preceded in death by her son, Marcus in 2011.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Hope Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Norma will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hope Lutheran Church, 2636 SE Minnesota Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66605 or to Topeka Lutheran School, 701 SW Roosevelt St., Topeka, Kansas 66606.
