He graduated from Melvern High School. He attended the University of Kansas and Allen County Junior College in Iola.
He came to Topeka in October of 1979. He was employed by Southwestern Bell for 26 years before retiring in December of 1991.
He then owned and operated Sharpening Systems from 1992-1998.
He was a member of Lawrence Lodge No. 6 AF&AM where he served as past master, Lawrence Scottish Rite and Abdallah Shrine
Temple in Kansas City.

family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
