It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Novi Rose, who left us too soon at the tender age of 9. Novi had the privilege of two families who adored her infectious smile and personality that matched her fiery red hair. Novi was born to Charles and Shondi Hill on July 11, 2015. She was later adopted by Panji and Angela Ndhlovu and family. Novi passed on October 13th at Stormont Vail from complications of her life-long illness.
Novi was cherished and embraced by all who met her not only by her family, but also by a network of dedicated nurses, medical teams, and educators who provided her with unwavering support and love. Her bright smile and contagious spirit touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though her time with us was brief, the impact she made will last forever. Novi taught us the true meaning of love. Her resilience will be deeply missed.
Novi leaves behind Charles and Leann Hill of Topeka, her biological siblings Whitney, Faith, Chas, Heaven, Kelsey, Charlie, and J.R. Novi also leaves behind Panji and Angela Ndhlovu and siblings Malaika, Ethyn, Jelani, Rhyden, Diandre and Kiana all of Topeka.
The Ndhlovu family will welcome visitors in the home located at 6030 SW 36th Ct. on Monday, October 28th from 3-6pm to celebrate Novi and the joy she brought to our lives. In place of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Stormont Vail’s Child Life department in her honor. The Child Life Amazon Wishlist is listed below.
