Olive I. Street, 96, of Tecumseh, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was born February 21, 1924 in Lone Star, Kansas, the fourth of five children born to Joseph Donald and Lola Mary (Hoover) Flory.
Olive was a homemaker.
Olive met the love of her life and married Robert W. Street on October 22, 1941 in Lawrence. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2006.
Survivors include children, Bob (Diena) Street of Modesto, California, John (Sandra) Street of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Ruth (Garran) Allison of Tecumseh, Joe (Karen) Street of Gig Harbor, Washington, eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Olive was preceded in death by her five siblings, Maxine, Rusty, Bud, Donald and Roland.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Washington Creek Cemetery in Douglas County.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, Kansas, 66604.
