Ophelia Perry

Ophelia Perry, 84, Topeka, died Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born Nov. 15, 1918 in Brownville, TN, the daughter of Zeke and Mamie Taylor Talliforro. She lived in Indianapolis, IN from 1963 until coming to Topeka in 1998.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Cora Smith, Topeka and Mamie Bryant, Indianapolis; 3 sons, Henry Perry, Jr. and Charlie Reed, both of Indianapolis, and Ezekiel Reed, Lafayette, IN; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm Monday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund to be named later and sent in care of the funeral home.
