Orville L. Dreasher, Jr., 84, of Tecumseh, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born April 5, 1940 in Topeka, the son of Orville L. and Geraldine F. (Valentine) Dreasher.
Orville graduated from Highland Park High School. He owned and operated Dreasher Concrete and Topeka Raceway. He was a member the Ford Club.
Orville married his high school sweetheart, Dixie L. Tibbits on August 30, 1959 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include children, Connie (Matthew) Magnor of Topeka, Kimberly (Patrick Joslin) Brockelman of Topeka, Amy (Jerry Keithley) Frickey of Topeka, eight grandchildren, Dustin (Shannon), Casey, Toby (Chloe), Ryan (Kelsi) Mandy (Justin) Michael “Mikey”, Ashley (Layton) and Tre (Lillian), eighteen great-grandchildren and his brother, Gene Dreasher of Perry, Kansas. Also surviving is his caregiver, Brandon Boyd and his favorite horse, Raceway.
Orville was a Volunteer Firefighter, Sheriff and pushed snow.
Orville was preceded one son, Tommy Joe Dreasher on October 19, 2019 and his brother, James Dreasher.
A Celebration of Orville's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Cremation will follow the service and private inurnment will take place in Rochester Cemetery at a later date.
