Pamela Kay Foresman
Pamela K. Foresman, 47, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at a local hospital.
Pam was born April 15, 1962 in Topeka, the daughter of Gerald and Ida (Moore) Sharkey. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1980 and attended Washburn University.
She was employed by Memorial Hospital until the birth of her children. She served as a room mother and library assistant at North Fairview Grade School, and worked in the cafeteria at Seaman High School.
Pam married Robert N. Foresman on April 19, 1986 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include daughters, Chelsi Foresman, Kallie Foresman; sisters, Judy Blocher, Sharon Hawks, Susan Van Vleck, all of Topeka; brother, Jerry Sharkey, Murray, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pam will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, and visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
