Parker D. Christy, 44, of Silver Lake, KS passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009.
He was born September 23, 1964 in Ottawa, KS, the son of Charles D. and Vinita H. (Pope) Christy. He was a graduate of Osage City High School.
He was owner/operator of Parker D. Christy Ceramic Tile Installation.
Parker married Lori Stauffer on September 10, 1988 in Osage City, KS. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Zach and Allison Christy of the home; and two sisters, Elaine Martin and Carrie Babbitt.
Mr. Christy was cremated. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Silver Lake United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christy Children's Education Fund, sent of Capitol Federal Savings, 700 Kansas Ave, Topeka, KS 66603. Dove Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
