Patricia A. Smith

Patricia A. "Randi" Burson Gentry Smith, 59, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2006 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on April 6, 1947 in Lawrence to Mildred Burson Tuner. Randi was raised by her parents, Frank and Louise Jenkins. She attended Lawrence schools. She moved to Topeka in 1973. She was employed at Patricia Stevens Modeling in Kansas City, MO, and Adams Business Forms and Jostens American Year Book Company in Topeka. Survivors include a long time companion, Louis "Luddie" Miller, one daughter TaLona Gentry of Topeka, one son, Nathaniel Gentry of Topeka, two grandsons, Antonnio Gentry, DeQuaan Haggerty, two granddaughters, Patrice Haggerty, Tyshika Jones, two great-granddaughters, Alazane and Tyjanick, two great-grandsons, Aleoe and Israel one brother, Theron Ragland of Kansas City, special granddaughter, KaShai Taylor, special son-in-law, Uler Haggerty, Jr., a special granddaughter-in-law, Alysanna Grisham and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, 307 S.E. Teft St. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
