Patricia Craig Lane

Patricia Craig Lane, 80, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020. She was born January 5, 1940 in Cherokee, Oklahoma, the daughter of George L. and Lois W. (Frix) Durscherl.
Patricia graduated from Caney High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Pittsburg Teachers College and a Master's Degree in Education from Washburn University. She was employed as an Elementary School Teacher for U.S.D. 501, including many years at Highland Park Central and Scott Magnet School.
Patricia married Charles Craig. They later divorced. She married Donald Lane. He was employed by Jostens Printing and Publishing for 41 years and was later a paraprofessional at Berryton Elementary School.
He preceded her in death.
Survivors include three children, Elizabeth Lane of Topeka, Donielle Lane of the home, Alexander Lane of Kansas and her sister, Marilyn Johnson of Maumelle, Arkansas.
As per Patricia's wishes, cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
