Patricia Dodson
Patricia A. Dodson, 73, Topeka, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.
She was born on April 5, 1934 at Terra Haute, IN to Ruth and Stacy Horrall.
She was married on Oct. 30, 1954 to Wayne Dodson in Indianapolis, IN. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters: Brenda (Ron) Ridgway, Karen Williams; son, Robert Dodson, all of Topeka; son, David (Debbie) Dodson of Chesterfield, CT; one sister, Geraldine Creech; brother, Tim Horrall, both of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Patricia was a warm and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a loving person to all who knew her. Her favorite things were spending time with her grandchildren, bowling and crocheting.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wed., April 9, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 37th & Wanamaker Rd. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Patricia will lie in state Tues. after 3:00 PM at the funeral home where family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 4300 Drury Lane, Topeka, KS 66604-2419.
