Patricia K. Kraus, 74, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born November 20, 1943 in Bigelow, Kansas, the daughter of George J. and Anna B. (Burton) Stevens.
Patricia graduated from Lawrence High School. She was a homemaker and employed by Walmart.
Patricia married Don Kraus on January 9, 1971 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Robin Carpenter, Rance Smith, Mike Smith, Dawn Grimmett, Todd Kraus, eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by one grandson, Ryan Griffin, one infant great-grandson, Tobias Mendez and her siblings, Belle Whitesell, Mary Lou Strickler, George Stevens Jr. and Shirley Easum.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Graveside committal services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Peace Cemetery, Alma, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family.
