Patricia May Kerr

Patricia M. Kerr, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008 at Manor Care Health Services. She was born June 22, 1933 in Olathe, the daugher of Arnold and Evelyn McPheeters Christiason. She graduated from Osage City High School. She has resided in Topeka since 1955. Patricia was an avid ballroom dancer. She taught dancing and swiming for many years in both her home and at the YWCA. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and Central Presbyterian Church. Patricia married Walter B. Kerr on July 29, 1951 in Osage City. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Marcia L. Kerr of Houston, TX, one son, Chris C. Kerr of Parkville, MO, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two brothers, Paul Christiason of Yuba City, CA and Robert Christiason of Dallas, TX. Patricia was preceded in death by two sons, Patrick Kerr and Scott Kerr. She will not lie in state. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Burial will follow.
