Patricia Ann McCormick, 73, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
She was born February 20, 1948, in Ellsworth, Kansas, the daughter of Fred Alfred and Ethel Albertina (Engstrom) Belk. She attended Salina Public Schools, Salina, KS.
Patricia was employed by Stormont-Vail Hospital and later for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas.
She was a group leader of the Camp Fire Girls in Topeka and played on multiple bowling leagues.
Patricia married Robert D. McCormick, Sr. on February 17, 1968 in Salina, KS. He survives in Topeka. Other survivors include three children, Lori (Robert) Dresch of Topeka, Stephanie McCormick of Lindsborg, KS and Robert McCormick, Jr. of Salina, KS; two grandchildren, Ashley (Scott) Manrose of Topeka and Jessica (Danny) Brown of Auburn; five great-grandchildren, Anthony, Savannah and Cole Manrose and Ryan and Hunter Brown; her sister, Wanda Jacobs of Erie, PA; and her brother, Fred (Peggy) Belk of Salina, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Eileen Cajthaml and Jean Deming; and three brothers, Lloyd, Edward and Paul Belk.
Patricia enjoyed spending time with family, especially her granddaughters, and preparing dinners for any gathering. She also enjoyed shopping, sewing, crocheting, photography, genealogy, playing card and board games, square dancing, and her cats and dogs.
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. A private family gathering is planned. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel in Topeka, is assisting the family.
