Patricia Wade

Patricia A. Wade, 82, lifelong resident of Topeka, passed away April 1, 2011. She was born March 25, 1929 to William R. and Jessie Irene (Grange) Pierce. She married Ralph E. Wade in 1950. She retired after many years as a licensed daycare provider and then worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas.
She became a Christian and devoted her life to God. She loved reading her bible and making craft projects. She loved being a mother and raising her children.
She is survived by her children, Chere Shaw, Palm Bay, FL; Denise Hart, Craig Wade, and David Wade, all of Topeka; Darin Wade, Lawrence, KS; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held April 6, 2011 at 11:00 am at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel one hour before the service to celebrate her life.
