Patrick David Northway, 65, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019.
He was born October 31, 1953, in West Palm Beach, Florida, the son of David William and Jean (Craddock) Northway. He was a 1971graduate of Pompano Beach High School Pompano Beach, Florida and received a BS in Aviation Science from Florida Tech.
Patrick was employed as an Airport Manager for airports in the Northeastern United States, retiring in 2006.
Mr. Northway was a member of the Episcopal Church. Patrick was a private pilot, certified scuba diving instructor, volunteered for the Salvation Army and enjoyed surfing and playing the guitar.
Survivors include his brother, Dr. Dan P. (Kathryn) Northway, Topeka; two sisters, Jayne (Rt. Rev. Henry) Louttit, Tallahassee, FL and Dr. Cassandra (Dr. Tom) Hancock, Boca Raton, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2019 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1011 Vermont St, Lawrence, KS 66044. Cremation will follow the ceremony. Inurnment will be at Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery, Valdosta, Georgia at a later date. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.
