Paul G. "Gerry" Reed

Paul G. "Gerry" Reed, 69, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born May 15, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Ulyss and Ruby (Ayers) Reed.

Gerry graduated from Topeka High School. He was employed by Jostens Yearbook Company. 

Gerry married Donna Whittington on June 16, 1984 in Topeka. She preceded him in death on December 25, 2023.

Survivors include son; Brandon (Jaime), grandchildren, Kalyn, Hailee, Trevor, daughter; Kayla; grandson, Aden, sisters; Robbie Crader, Ginny Reed, Alice (Don) Wells and Dawn (Steve) Hanrahan. brothers; David Reed, Bruce Watson, Larry (Tracey) Arndt, Leon (Lisa) Arndt, Barry (Charlotte) Reed, Bennie (Barbara) Reed, and several nieces and nephews.

Gerry was preceded in death by three brothers; Jack Reed, Henry Reed, and Loren Reed and both of his parents.

A Celebration of Gerry's Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the Capital City KOA, 1949 SW 49th St., Topeka, Kansas 66609 with the Reverend Allen "Chainsaw" McCullough officiating. Dinner will follow. 

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
