Paul A. Schiffelbein, 68, of Topeka, passed away on March 5, 2017.
He was born on December 24, 1948 in Topeka, KS to Albon and Josephine (Puhl) Schiffelbein.
He grew up in the Oakland community, and graduated from Hayden High School in 1966. Paul was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Paul married Vicki L. Bailey on October 11, 1969 at Most Pure Heart of Mary Church. She preceded him in death on August 14, 2013.
He retired from Hallmark Cards after 34 years.
He enjoyed wood working, spoiling his grandbabies, trips to the casinos, spending time with family, and his Thursday coffee club.
He is survived by three daughters, Emily (Cecil North) Schiffelbein, Michelle (John) Leach, and Sara (Toby) Viles, all of Topeka; a son, Chris (Jack Travis) Schiffelbein, of Long Island, NY; a sister, Sandy (Joseph) Plankington; four grand-daughters, Paulette and Isabelle Viles, and Victoria and Abbigail Leach; as well a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Schiffelbein; a son, Brian Schiffelbein; his parents, Al and Jo Schiffelbein; and his parents-in-law, Chester and Betty Bailey.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 NE Freeman, Topeka.
