Paul William "Bill" Stubbs, 63, Topeka, died Friday, April 11, 2008 at Midland Hospice House after a long, horrific war with cancer.
He was born Sept. 30, 1944 in Chester, PA, and was raised in Delaware. He had lived in Topeka since 1982.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Joyce Beeghly and family, his beloved dog, Rocky, as well as numerous saddened friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home with interment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
Bill will lie in state from noon until 4 pm today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka 66604.
