Paul A. Wobus, III, 59, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. He was born December 18, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Paul and Louise (Bartold) Wobus, II.
Paul graduated from Concordia High School in Concordia, Missouri. He had resided in Topeka since 1987. He was employed in the food service industry. He had officiated various high school and youth sports events in and around Topeka.
Paul married Karleta Locke in July 1987. They later divorced.
Survivors include three daughters; Victoria (TJ) Wasser of Clover, South Carolina, Melanie (Billy) Brunton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jessica Wobus of Topeka, two grandchildren, Liam and Jackson and his siblings; Nan Wilkinson of Concordia, Missouri, Kathy Saylor of Fayette, Missouri, Lauri Buck of Kansas City, Missouri.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Shawnee Heights Baptist Church, 4335 SE 29th St., Topeka, Kansas 66605. The family is asking in honor of Paul's love for sports, that everyone wears a jersey or gear from their favorite team to the service. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st. St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
