Pauline Fredrickson Hall, a resident of Aldersgate Village, passed away on November 25, 2017 in Topeka, KS at the age of 92.
She was born Nora Pauline Fredrickson in Concordia, Kansas, on February 26, 1925, the only child of Paul Fredrickson and Eda (Ganstrom) Fredrickson. She was raised in Buffalo Township in Cloud County and graduated from Concordia High School. Pauline received a degree in Microbiology from Kansas State University in 1946 followed by a career as a virologist with the State of Kansas Health and Environmental Laboratories.
She married Robert F. Hall in Concordia on December 31, 1947. He preceded her in death in January 1997.
Pauline was an active member of Gage Park Baptist Church since 1952, and very active in American Baptist Women's Fellowship activities. Upon retirement, she volunteered at Stormont-Vail Hospital.
Pauline is survived by two children, Jacqueline Hall Roberts of San Antonio (TX) and Robert Hall Jr. (B.L.) of Topeka; four grandchildren, Gabrianna (Chris) Neuer, Sallee Gaelle (Drew) Jack, Christina (Matt) Scott and Ryan Bigley; and five great-grandsons.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka. The family will host a reception immediately following. Refreshments will be served.
Private burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia, KS at a later date.
