Pauline J. Stanwix, 61, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012. She was born June 7, 1951 in Kansas City, MO, to Lloyd and Anna Mae (Parker) Bruner.
She was raised in Topeka and graduated from Topeka High School. Following high school, she earned a Bachelor's degree from Kansas State University. Pauline married Michael W. Stanwix in 1975. They later divorced.
Pauline is survived by her mother, Anna Mae Denny; brothers, Larry J. Bruner, Platte City, MO, Michael J. Bruner (Connie), Parkville, MO; sisters, Betty Denny and Marianne Denny, Topeka; sister-in-law, Barbara Bruner, Topeka; many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved Shelties, Angel and Sissy.
She was preceded in death by her father, C.E. Denny; brother, David Bruner and sister-in-law, Carol Bruner.
Cremation is planned. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Westside Christian Church, 432 SW Lindenwood Ave. Topeka, KS 66606, or the Topeka Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 8550 Topeka, KS 66608.
