Pearl Landis, 95, of Topeka died Monday February 23, 2004 at Manor Care Nursing Home.
She was born December 16, 1908 in Chapman, KS the daughter of Fred & Anna Schrader. She lived in Council Grove, KS until 1929 when she came to Topeka.
She married her husband, William T Landis in 1930. They operated bakeries in Topeka, Burlington & St Marys.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son: David Lee, Grandson: William.
Survivors include a son, William T Landis; a daughter, Wilma Jean Diegel, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was also a member of the Philadelphia Church of God. Memorial Contributions may be made to her church @

Newcomer Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Graveside services will be on Friday, February 27, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Rochester Cemetery.
