Peggy Louise Spencer (Kovar), 83, of Topeka, KS, passed away on July 05, 2024.
Peggy was born on February 3, 1941 to Charley and Viola Kovar in Delia, KS.
When not working, she enjoyed a life of gardening, collecting Czech pottery, fishing, camping, quiet evenings with her faithful dog Princess, and visiting family when she could.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Charley and Viola Kovar, her sister Doreen Stone, and her husband Jim Spencer.
She leaves behind two sons, Kevin (Shelly) Kovar, Topeka, KS and Bill (Dan) Schenske-Shelton, Casselberry, FL; sisters Bertha Dunn Cheyenne,WY, Grace Turenne of Big Lake, MN;brother Philip (Deanne) Kovar of St. Marys, KS. Plus many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
At Peggy’s request, there will not be a service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Diabetes Association, PO Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312.
Dove Southeast Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
