Phillip Edward Dobelbower, age 54, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at his home.
Phillip was born July 9, 1960 in Oklahoma City the son of Thomas and Betty (Keetch) Dobelbower. He graduated from Topeka West High.
He married Genevieve Young in 1983; she survives.
He is survived by his three sons Tyler (Sarah), Travis (Briana), Nicholas (Hanna), and grandchildren Rylen, Maxwell, Raeya, Marlo, and Ada, his parents and siblings Kevin, Peggy (David) Oliver, and Steve (Kathi), niece and nephew Natalie and Bennett Oliver, and the entire Young family.
Phillip was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, fishing, golfing, and reading. Everyone who knew Phil would agree that he had a heart of gold.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS 66610. A private family burial of the cremated remains will take place at a later date.
