Phillip Michael "Mike" Donnelly, 63, Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014. He was born May 6, 1951 in Norton, Kansas the son of Phillip E. and Deloris A. (Aust) Donnelly.
Mike graduated from Dodge City High School in 1969. In 1989, he graduated from Fort Hays State University with an MBA. He was an accountant and retired from American Home Life Insurance Company where he was treasurer and vice president.
On November 20, 1976, he married Marianne James in Dighton, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Michael A. Donnelly, Kansas City, MO and Christopher J. Donnelly, Topeka; his mother, Deloris, Dodge City and two sisters, Patricia Gerber, Dodge City and Peggy Meyer, Boca Raton, FL. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 10 am on Wednesday, August 13 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
