Phyllis Ann Aurner, 79, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009.
She was born April 7, 1930 in Topeka, the daughter of Roy and Josephine (Peterson) Barrett. She was a graduate of Topeka High School.
She retired from I.B.M. after many years of service. After retirement, she was a Master Floral Designer for Burns Floral and enjoyed gardening, crafts, and her beloved friends. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Phyllis married Robert Aurner, II and later divorced. Survivors include her children, Sheryl, Roxanne, Katheryn, Suzanne, and Robert, III; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Bob Barrett.
Mrs. Aurner wished to be cremated. Memorial Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 731 Southwest Buchanan Street, Topeka, KS 66606-1426. Dove Funeral Home is assisting the family.
