Phyllis J. Cusic, 71, Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at a local hospital.
Phyllis was born December 22, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Clayton and Glenna Pusch.
She was employed in the Comptroller's office at Kansas State University for 20 years, and later was a co-owner of United Workshops in Topeka.
Phyllis married C. Larry Cusic on December 6, 1957. They later divorced. Survivors include sons, Tony Cusic, Manhattan, Rocky (Kelly) Cusic, Topeka; daughter, Lori (Timothy) Belton, Overland Park; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brothers, Roger Pusch, Gary Pusch, both of Topeka; and sisters, Linda Blount, Shirley Kelly, Carbondale, and Jackie Peek, Topeka.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
