Phyllis Jean Cook

Phyllis Jean Cook, 71, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born on October 29, 1935 in Great Bend, the daughter of Edwin and Dorothy Heater Corbett. She had resided in Topeka since 1955. Phyllis married Donald W. Cook on January 30, 1953 in Ellinwood, KS. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Stephen D. Cook of Topeka, Terry L. Cook of Las Vegas, NV, one grandson, Cody, one granddaughter, Katelyn, two sisters, Shirley DeWerff of Ellinwood, KS, Janice Cormier of Topeka and one brother, Robert Corbett of Topeka. Phyllis was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin L. Corbett, II. Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will take place in Topeka Cemetery.
