Pierre Premeaux

Pierre Dalton "Pete" Premeaux, born May 23, 1926 to Clodie and Edolie (Broussard) Premeaux of Erath, Louisiana, died September 28, 2010 at Topeka, Kansas. He was a 1944 graduate of Erath High School and graduated from Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas with a BA in 1950. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Lightning Division of the Third Army. He was employed by the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad for 19 years and Santa Fe Railroad for 18 years before retiring in 1988.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann; his three daughters, Karen Wilson, Garland, Texas, Laura Premeaux, Garland, Texas, and Michelle Deiter, Meriden, Kansas; and two granddaughters, Abbey and Allie Deiter. He was preceded by his parents and siblings.

Graveside services with military honors presented by a Ft. Riley Army detail will be held at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Manhattan, Kansas on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
